Speech Recognition / Synthesis / Recording / Playing
Notes - To use this page successfully ...
Enable the download and use of ActiveX Controls in Internet Explorer.
(see Internet Explorer Menu: Tools, Internet Options, Security, Internet, Custom Level)
Enable Speech Recognition (you can use any MS speech enabled application to do this).
Be sure your Mic/Headset is plugged in and turned on.
Select dictation from the Microsoft speech toolbar.
Words you speak will be recognized, typed in the text box and spoken by the Narrator.

Notes on Recording:
To record what you are speaking ...
Connect your Mic / headset.
Check Speech settings in the Windows Control panel to be sure Mic is selected for speech.
Check Sound settings in the Windows Control panel to be sure Mic is selected for input.
Click the Mic icon on the speech taskbar to turn it on for Dictation.
To record what the Narrator is speaking (or other, external audio source) ...
Connect an audio cable between the computer's 'Line In' jack and one of: (Speaker, Earphone, External Audio)
You will need to change the input device from Mic to Line In, for speech. (Windows Control Panel, Speech, Audio Input, Properties)
(Choose the 'Use this Audio Input Line' Option, Choose Line In, OK everything)
While you are using this method, you may be unable to use the Mic for voice input, unless your sound card has an input multiplex.
Click START Recording (green) when ready; Click STOP & SAVE Recording (red) when finished;
The Path\FileName below is filled in automatically. Optionally change it to a different sound file;

Speak, type, or copy & paste your text into the text box, then click the "Narrator Speak' button
